QQQ tracks the Nasdaq 100 index β the 100 largest non-financial stocks on the NASDAQ exchange. As a result, it is heavily weighted to Big Tech: Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Amazon, Meta, Alphabet, Tesla, Broadcom together represent ~45% of the ETF.
QQQ is the second-largest equity ETF by AUM (~$300bn) and the deepest tech-tilted vehicle in the market.
